Support Anthropology Blogs – Donate, Flattr, Subscribe

January 2013 – A great year for Living Anthropologically–see the year-end round-up Living Anthropologically on 2012 Anthropology – 2013 Themes.

Now at over 13,000 people who like Living Anthropologically on Facebook! Continued wonderful response to Anthropology is the worst college major for being a corporate tool, best major to change your life (over 250 tweets, 2100 Facebook likes) makes it the most viewed and most shared post. Even got a mention in Science–see Great Year for Anthropology! (At the end of the world, that is). Thanks everyone, and thanks to all the anthropology blogs and bloggers!

Especially grateful to people donating to run the Facebook ad campaign. It’s effective and very international–it’s great to see people support anthropology not just in the traditional places but around the world.

Please consider continuing the effort with a donation, a Flattr, or a Kindle subscription. The donate button goes to PayPal, which accepts credit cards. The Flattr button is a recent venture facilitating micropayments to bloggers, and is done in Euros. Kindle subscriptions are about $1/month.

All donations go directly to promote the site and support anthropology blogs. I use Google Ad-Words buys to highlight real anthropological analysis, which often gets lost in generic searches. I use Facebook ads to increase the number of likes and visits. If there is a specific theme you would like your donation to support–or a specific regional focus–please let me know.

Very grateful too for all the traditional web methods–the tweets, Facebook likes, and other social shares–or please consider also liking or reviewing the blog on Amazon.

Please let me know if there’s something you would like to see or be different about the site. And if you are an anthropology blogger interested in setting up donation buttons, Flattr, or an Amazon subscription, please get in touch.

Thank you!
