2. History

For the second class of Introduction to Anthropology 2020 there were two readings:

  • Muckle and González chapter 1 (part 2 of 2), “Introduction: Viewing the World” (14-27)
  • Horace Miner, “Body Ritual Among the Nacirema,” American Anthropologist (1956)

For this class we finished the textbook chapter we began in the first class. We then moved on to readings on primates.
